I have been writing seminars, articles, and newsletters for 10 years, and just recently discovered HubPages.  My main hobby is metal detecting in water, which I've found out is a great way to find gold and silver, and to lose weight at the same time!  I am the vice-president of a local treasure hunting club for which I write a monthly online newsletter and continually learn about the many genres of treasurehunting such as civil war, fur trade, coin shooting, nugget shooting, gold panning, Alaskan claim outings,  relic and cache hunting, and the different types of gear required.
